I have a cat named Buttercup. She had a stroke yesterday. She’s still alive, eating, and generally being herself, given the circumstances, and for that I’m thankful. I’ve even allowed myself to believe she’s showing tiny signs of recovery. But I know intellectually she’s going to need plenty of time and TLC to recover. Anyway, this is something from one of my old sketchbooks about her. Please try to send a happy thought in her general direction.
